Trying to wade through all the deviations that have piled up. Not sure how long it's going to take me. hee hee

San Francisco was wonderful! Lots of walking and the trolley was fun too! There were only few bad things about the trip, and one of them wasthat the airline lost our luggage. To make matters worse, I was dressed in capris flipflops and a tank top...So So Cal I know. It was a little cooler up there than it was in OC. But as soon as the sun went down I was freezing my buns off. Fortunately, they did locate our luggage late the same night we had arrived and delivered it to our hotel. but that was After we had gone and bought toiletries and stuff. So deoderant is one of my San Fran souveniers lol. All in all it was fun. We had some fanastic dim sum. I would love to go back again sometime. Now that I have more of a feel for where things are. The first day we mostly roamed aimless and found ourselves in some seedier areas that I would have liked to have been. I took some pics...some maybe worth sharing I'll have to upload and see.

I'm currently babysitting one of my nephews. I should go, he just got up from a nap. I'll make comments on all the wonderful deviations soon! Hope you all are doing well!

Alcatraz, Rice a Roni( the san fransisco treat *ding ding*) & Sour dough bread! woohoo! My hubby and I are going there for our first anniversary. I'm very excited! Our anniversary is the 2nd of October, which coincides with the German celebration of Erntedankfest (literally translates to "Harvest-Thanksgiving-Day"). ( Thank you to my Faerie calendar for that tidbit of info lol)

In other news...
I watched "Flight Plan" over the weekend, which stars Jodie Foster. If you liked the movie "Forgotten"(staring Julianne Moore) you will enjoy this movie as well. You're never quite sure if the Jodie Foster's character has a lost her mind or not until the end.

...really i should have been in bed hours ago. but no...I felt inspired to sketch ...Don't get me wrong, inspiration is a loverly thing...but oy I'm tired. So much for sleep. I'm watching my 2 yr old nephew today. Should be interesting. Between my lack of sleep and his endless energy. lol why am I not sleeping now?? well apparently I'm a glutton for punishment ... but seriously, I will be dead to the world shortly after I post this journal. I was getting sick of looking at the X marked the Spot journal...though interesting and fun, I like variety..tis the spice of life. I purchased some lovely canvas over the weekend so maybe a full color something may be looming in the not too distant future...we can only hope. or rather..I can only hope.

well I suppose I ought to go to bed-- at least for a few hours before my beloved lil terror shows up at my door. I love my nephew. He's the apple of my eye. I'm even thinking about buying a toy chest and painting Spidermans all over it. he LOVES "pyder-man." Last week I bought him an out fit with spidy's embroidered all over it. you should have seen this kids face. you would have swore he won the lotto or something. he ran around the room showing us all his new outfit. then he started stripping his shirt off. lol I love that kid! too cute
